HBOC is one of the most relaxing services at HEAL. For guests familiar with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), the preparation is simple: there is nothing to perform and nothing to force. A little preparation helps ensure the safest and most comfortable experience possible.
Focus on hydration throughout the day before your session. Oxygen is utilized more efficiently in a well-hydrated body.
Loose, comfortable 100% cotton clothing is required inside the chamber. Cotton robes are available if needed.
A light meal before your session is recommended. Avoid arriving on an empty stomach and avoid heavy meals immediately beforehand.
Avoid alcohol before your session.
Many guests choose to relax, meditate, listen to music, watch content, or simply rest during their session. Phones, tablets, and laptops may be permitted in the chamber at your discretion.
If you are experiencing a cold, sinus congestion, ear infection, fever, or flu-like symptoms, your session should be rescheduled.
If you have a history of significant ear issues, lung conditions, recent surgery, pregnancy, implanted medical devices, or any other medical concern, consult your healthcare provider before participating.
